The Economic Development Department is responsible for commercial and industrial attraction and retention, downtown redevelopment and marketing Rochester as an attractive place to work and have a business. Professional staff will assist businesses in finding a Rochester location that suits their needs. The department works closely with entrepreneurs, business owners, developers and real estate professionals. The website www.thinkrochester.biz is a tool for these stakeholders to get current information about Rochester’s business climate, community profile, industrial parks and commercial districts. Office hours are By Appointment, the office located in the Community Center is staffed daily between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Please call 335-7522 for appointments or before sending anyone to the office.
